Alison Beauvais Carris, BCBA, LCPC
Founder, Chief Clinical Officer
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), my business is behavior change and I believe that goals are best realized when built upon one's strengths. I founded Behavioral Learning in an effort to bridge the gap between behavioral and mental health support. The training and experience I have received and developed as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) has enhanced my empathic communication style to create a well-rounded approach that is focused on helping you, or your loved one, live a value-directed life.
About Ali
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, I moved to Chicago to pursue my love of theatre and fell into the powerful world of behavior analysis. Breaking barriers, especially those surrounding the stigma of mental health and empowering individuals to advocate for their own needs is especially important to me personally, and professionally. Over the years, I have cultivated extensive experience working with people living with a variety of mental illnesses and/or developmental disabilities, especially those within the neurodiverse community. My areas of expertise include clinical behavior analysis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), family counseling and parent training, and clinical supervision. I currently serve as a board member of the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis and am active in various professional organizations.
